"The outside room turns his view into the lake and dives among the "umbrella" pine trees.
In order to protect his users from the strong Alentejo sun, we design a horizontal membrane that provides shelter trough the use of the "Mashrabiy" pattern inspired in the Arabic presence in the south of Portugal.

"Somewhere on the vast natural landscape of Pego Beach, we find a small plot surrounded by houses and roads, with no privacy and without the essential silence to enjoy the slow living.
Very little is necessary: two sleeping areas placed between the living, eating and relaxing spaces, hiding the private areas from the social and at the same time providing shelter from the road trough the use of the earth wall"

"Somewhere on the vast natural landscape of Comporta, we find a slope of sand and oak trees line that together create the perfect atmosphere for building the Vuhsu H.
The house is conceived as a horizontal line suspended over the sand, almost like an endless bench that we can sit on, dive our feet into the sand and overlook the beautiful landscape.
Very little is necessary:two wooden boxes placed between the living, eating and relaxing spaces, hiding the private areas from the social and at the same time providing shelter from the sun trough the use of the "Mashrabiyas"

" The key challenge for the interior architecture of this apartment on the center of Coimbra was to harmonize the potential for expansiveness offered by the three levels with the programmatic requirements of the brief.
This project speaks about the return of the owners to the city after a ten year period of living on the outskirts."

"During the early master planning stage of the Stella Magna project  the original construction of the old farm was selected as the future location of the Hostel. Whilst semi-derelict, the structure had retained its roof, ensuring the integrity of the upper floor vaulting.
Renovation has been extensive, including a new staircase connecting the two floors, restoration of the interior stone walls and remodeled facade detailing. "

"The name of this project is related to the material in witch it is built.
The Sugi tree is endemic to Japan an it is know as the Japanese cedar.
This tree was planted in the Portuguese Atlantic island of Azores and the wood for the constructions will come from this natural "Eden".
The idea behind this house is to return to the original relation between man and nature, now lost with the creation of the city's."
